GrindDate 2026, held from April 21 to April 23, was a resounding success. Under the guiding theme Formula Beyond, more than 500 customers, partners, and industry experts came together to discuss the future of grinding technology, openly, critically, and on equal footing.

The focus was not on presenting individual machines, but on exchanging views on technological mindset, system thinking, and the consistent further development of processes. Formula Beyond became tangible as what it means for Adelbert Haas and its partners: excellence is not a goal, but a daily responsibility.

The manufacturing solutions on display clearly demonstrated where grinding technology is heading, away from isolated precision and toward intelligent overall systems combining hardware, software, and process expertise. In particular, the strong software orientation and the clear focus on stable, reproducible, and automatable processes shaped discussions throughout all days of the event.

A central topic was full automation not as an end in itself, but as a logical consequence of an uncompromising understanding of quality and process reliability. Discussions focused on how manufacturing can be designed so clearly that machines execute processes reliably, while people gain freedom for development, improvement, and new ideas.

GrindDate 2026 impressively demonstrated how important partnership-based collaboration is for technological excellence. The close integration of selected partner companies was perceived by participants as a significant added value not as a supply chain, but as joint work on holistic solutions.

The current generation of machines, including the Multigrind® Radical, was also the focus of many discussions. It was not viewed as a product, but as a visible expression of a clear technical mindset: not accepting limits, but deliberately pushing them.
