Simulation with a difference

Waves simulated in real time

Admittedly, as a manufacturer of grinding machines and grinding software, we see simulation as something different. But the video above is a very special simulation that I wanted to show you. The artist David Bowen has created wave movements (intensity and frequency) in the Pacific Ocean, recorded by a buoy, in a mechanical installation at the Warsaw Art Museum. The physical effects of the ocean's movement are simulated in real time in the museum.

Real time is a good keyword. In the future, the users of our new grinding software will be able to visualize the effects of each individual programming step and each data input in real time. What does this look like? Unfortunately, I'm not yet allowed to tell you. But I'm sure you'll be amazed when you see it live for the first time at the GrindTec in Augsburg.

More to come soon.
