Double reversal process

  • Double reversal process

The double reversal process is a complex electroplating manufacturing method that is primarily used for complex gear geometries. In this process, the desired contour is first precisely replicated through several intermediate steps before the actual diamond-coated dresser is produced.

The advantage lies in the very high profile accuracy, even for difficult geometries. However, the process is complex and is therefore only used in specialized applications.
