On this day in 1954, The Voice of Tangier (which in 1960 would become known as Trans World Radio) aired it’s first broadcast from Morocco into Europe via shortwave.

TWR-Africa recently had people from various departments come into the studio to record an explanation of their work for English listeners in Southern Africa.

We’re really close to finishing all the work on The Way of Righteousness (TWOR) that was agreed on October 2011. Last month, TWR’s new East Africa Director asked the Program Development Team for five minute versions of various series we’d like to promote at the series at the September 2013 Africa by Radio Continental Convention in Kenya. Yesterday Andrew edited down the first (15-min.) episode into a sampler to promote the series to broadcasters.
