Radio ELWA Video from Nigeria trip
Here’s a new video mostly produced from footage shot on my iPhone in June. In an amazing “coincidence” while in Jos, Nigeria a message was forwarded from the USA that the sponsor (a church in South Africa) of a particular program was asking for an update. Instead of writing a report, I shot an interview with the producer of the series plus a few others.
October Prayer Letter
Andrew and Holly’s trip to Cape Town together followed by Andrew’s solo trip south. Video training, CCM and an exciting TWR listener story from Durban.
Explaining UPG Work
TWR-Africa recently had people from various departments come into the studio to record an explanation of their work for English listeners in Southern Africa.
You can listen to the file above or download what Andrew said about reaching Unreached People Groups (UPGs).
TWOR Sample Radio Episode
We’re really close to finishing all the work on The Way of Righteousness (TWOR) that was agreed on October 2011. Last month, TWR’s new East Africa Director asked the Program Development Team for five minute versions of various series we’d like to promote at the series at the September 2013 Africa by Radio Continental Convention in Kenya. Yesterday Andrew edited down the first (15-min.) episode into a sampler to promote the series to broadcasters.
Here’s an mp3 you can listen to in your browser (or right-click to save as.)
July Prayer Letter
2013 West Africa trip
Andrew and his supervisor John are making plans to visit Nigeria (and possibly Benin and Niger) in the first half of 2013. Please pray that the right dates are chosen for the trip and that much can be accomplished for the Kingdom.
Beech Family Reunion
Living in South Africa, we seldom get to see family except for video chats. We’re very thankful for the encouragement to have Holly’s folks visit for a couple weeks about every three years. The photo above was taken January 26, 2013 at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens north of Johannesburg.
We had a great time and are always pleased to entertain visitors. If you may be passing through Joburg, please let us know. Our guest room is always open.
